Palisades Perspective
Since 1966 the Palisades Residents’ Association of San Pedro has represented the residents of the area of San Pedro bounded by 25th St., Gaffey St., Western Ave. & the Pacific Ocean, plus the Pacific Crest section of Air Force housing north of 25th St. Approximately 1,800 residences and about 5,000 people are within these boundaries.

To keep our community informed as to important local issues, we have established a newsletter known as the Palisades Perspective which is mailed to all residences within the boundaries of the Palisades Residents’ Association once a year. To help cover the expenses incurred by the newsletter, advertising space is sold to local businesses.

The Palisades Perspective is published once a year in December. The deadline for submissions is November 3. We accept guest articles, commentary, calendar items, letters to the editor and photos of local events.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Text: unformatted Word Document (Times New Roman, 12 pt font) or in-email
Scanned Photos: Jpeg, 300 dpi, at 100% of reproduction size. Include Word document with caption (who, what, where, when, why) and photo credit.
Scanned logos and other line-art: 1200 dpi at 100% of reproduction size.
Ads: jpg file preferred or pdf to exact ad dimensions. See above for jpg format.
Calendar Event: Event name, date and contact info (www, phone, or email).

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR GUIDELINES:
Would you like to voice an opinion regarding a Palisades area issue? Submissions must be 150 words or less, of general interest and not be considered potentially libelous. For your letter to be considered, a street address and phone number where we may contact you are required. Anonymous submissions, addresses and phone numbers will not be published. We reserve the right to edit, condense or refuse submissions.
